Film Review

The film I think looks pretty good. It took me a while to finally be able to record it and start editing it. Finding the time to be able to film was hard. I ended up just doing it around my house since its going to be a horror film anyway. The acting was one of the hardest parts too, being able to show the fear and emotion in your face was kind of difficult to master. Editing wasn't too hard, there wasn't much I had to edit in the first place. The things I did have to edit, I have a friend that's really good t editing so I asked her if shed be able to help me with it or at least teach it to me.

Genre Decision

My opening sequence will be an action one because I feel like I have the most knowledge in this kind of genre. I like the shots that are in actions and I like the whole idea of it. Explosions and car chases seems like a lot of fun.

Music Video

I had a lot of fun doing this project. I had a great time with the people I was able to do it on and the environment around me. This project has taught me a lot about filming and how to really understand it. I feel like I've gotten better at filming in general and understanding all the techniques that come with it. I could tell throughout the project, I was able to figure out more things I can do and to what extent I can do them. As well as here I posted this on tik tok so I can try to be more successful at filming one day.

After filming all of the things I wanted to film, I got home and started looking over the footage. I liked a lot of what I filmed so I didnt have to delete too many things. I started adding transitions from each take and effects to the video. At the end I put the song over it and watched over it to make sure nothing was really wrong with it.

This past weekend I went to the track to begin the filming. I got my camera and was filming my friend that races there. He was very cooperative with the video and had no problem being in it. So throughout the weekend, I was able to film him on and off the track. It was a lot of fun being around all my friends and all the people that was there.

After finding where I wanted to do the video, I started getting all the props that I thought would fit the video along with the proper attire. I got all the things I wanted and got my camera to begin filming.

Production Blog 1

For day 1 of filming, I was mainly focused on doing my music video in the right place. So I went around looking for the right places to do the filming. I drove around my neighborhood and went around my house to look and see if it was the right place. After being unsuccessful, I decided doing it at the track I practice on would be the most beneficial place to do the music video.

Group Blog

I decided to not work with a group because I find it easier to work by myself. I can get more done and I focus more on what I have to do. With a group, usually there's only one person that does everything and everyone else just sits back and waits for that person to finish it all. Doing this individually seemed like the better option for me. I have no one that I really know in this class so I decided to just work by myself. Sometimes maybe its not such a good idea because Im so busy after school with work and on the weekends that I dont really have time to do some of this stuff even in class but its been great. Ive had a really great time in this class and doing the commercial, which was the last project we did. I chose this music video because it was my favorite song when I was younger.

The first steps im going to take into this video is watching the video a few times. Then im going to go over all the camera angles and clamps and sounds and background thats in the video. When i have a good understanding of the things i can do thats in the music video im going to find a proper place or places to film the music video. When i find the place im going to plan out how the video will go and what ill do for it. When i know that all get all the props i need or extra equipment or costumes. Finally when i have all of that, im going to start filming my music video. After a few takes or times doing it and im finally happy with how it turned out, ill start going through all the takes I did. Then ill put all the best parts together and start doing edits to the video. Ill add cool effects to the video or ill just start clipping the video to the proper length or cutting out the thing I dont like in it. Once ive done that and im happy with how my music video turned out, ill turn i...

Hello, my name is Summer Whited and i am 17 years old. I was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 11th, 2004. Im a Senior in High School. One of my biggest dreams is to become an F1 driver or do some type of GT racing. I started doing indoor karting with the electric karts in February, they have a teen league I go to once a month and compete in. Ive won 5 times in a row, got a 2nd and a 3rd place. After a few months of being there, someone who has a team in Homestead with the much faster gas powered and professional karts invited me down there to check out the karts and whatnot. He runs the Xtreme team, like the arcade and I race for them now. It has honestly changed my life. Ive met some really cool people doing it and its my favorite thing to do. I go down almost every weekend and participate in the club races they do and the outside races.

My commercial challenges conventions by showing what a commercial can be and how a blog can help the process of it. It represents social groups by bringing to light athletes or athletic things in general. My commercial engages with audiences by relating to athletes or people who want to start doing athletic stuff like sports for example. My production skills developed because all through the journey of the project, I would get a better understanding of how to produce something correctly. I needed technology to be able to film my commercial so that is a way technology played a role in my project.

Commercial Blog

This project was a lot of fun to do. I learned so much from this experience. I had a lot of fun planning the commercial, doing all the blogs and even finally being able to do the commercial. It was really cool to be able to learn this much about media. With editing the commercial and formatting the blogs. I think it was a really good learning experience. I would definitely do this project again. I cant wait for the next one I am able to do, the music video. Im very excited for that.

I first started to finish up my blog. When I was done with it I started to download it to my computer. I logged onto my computer. I looked over my whole commercial. I didnt have to do too much editing because I was basically able to get it done in one shot. I watched over my commercial a few times. Just to make sure there was no errors in it. I was happy with it when i got done watching over it a few times. There were hardly any errors that I had noticed. When I was done I downloaded the commercial on my computer. I unplugged my phone from my computer. I then walked away. I thought of maybe some errors I could have done. I looked on my phone. I pulled up the commercial to go over it one last time. I looked over it and i didnt see anything i could fix. I was happy with it so i finally put everything away. I then turned off my computer and stopped.
